Wondra/Rocks (Name TBD)

Given our affinity for the rocky cobblestone soils in the Milton-Freewater area of the Walla Walla Valley, we acquired an additional eight acres at the base of Seven Hills Vineyard which was a long-standing apple orchard.  These dense basalt soils provide incredible drainage and an opportunity to stress the vines in order to seek deep nutrients.  To complement our plantings at Old Stones Vineyard about five miles to the east, we planted this vineyard in Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and Viognier.  Also managed by the existing vineyard management team at Seven Hills Vineyard, we expect this site to be sustainably farmed and VINEA certified.
