Jason D. Huntley

A fifth generation “Walla Wallan,” Jason is the Founder and Managing Partner of Waters Winery. The creation of the winery was inspired by the convergence of Jason’s passion for great wine, his appreciation for the quality and potential of the Walla Walla Valley and his family heritage. After several years of tasting and acquiring Walla Walla wines, and becoming introduced to Jamie Brown and his wines, the opportunity to create something special beckoned.

Jason’s ties to the Walla Walla Valley enhance his desire to showcase the quality and potential of this burgeoning wine region. “From the onset, we committed to invest substantial resources over a long period of time to develop great estate vineyards, build and operate a first-class facility and produce distinct, exceptional wines. Success will come only with patience, our dedication to relationships and uncompromised expectations for quality wine.”

Jason is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Huntley Thatcher Ellsworth, Ltd., a private asset management firm based in Colorado Springs. Jason and his wife Kirschten have two sons, Jackson and Spencer, and cherish the opportunity to work together at the winery and in the vineyards.
